The Pimax Global Roadshow is heading to Graz, and this stop is a special one. On Friday 31 July, together with NEED immersive reality and CAD-Forge, we're bringing the latest devices and innovations in virtual and immersive reality to Joanneumring 7/7, and turning it into a full day of hands-on VR.
The date is no coincidence. This event doubles as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of both NEED immersive reality and CAD-Forge. A decade of building, collaborating, and pushing immersive technology forward is worth marking properly, and we'd like to mark it with the people who've followed along and the ones just discovering what modern PCVR can do.

The centerpiece (aside from meeting all you guys) is the hardware. Two headsets will be on display and open to try: the Pimax Dream Air and the Dream Air SE. If you've only read about them, this is the chance to put one on and see for yourself what they do differently, rather than take anyone's word for it.
Beyond the headsets, the day is built for trying things and talking to people who know them well. You can get hands-on with the newest Pimax headsets and immersive technologies, meet industry experts, and dig into where this goes next for professional applications, design, engineering, and entertainment. Whether you come from a CAD and engineering background or you're here for the gaming side, there's something to put your hands on.
The point of a roadshow is that specs and marketing copy only get you so far. VR is one of those things you have to experience to understand. So come and experience the future of PCVR first-hand.

About NEED immersive reality
NEED immersive reality is a Graz- and Vienna-based XR specialist that has been building immersive experiences since 2016. They develop custom VR, AR, and 360° software, 3D configurators, and consulting services that help companies use extended reality for training, product presentation, urban planning, and customer interaction. This year marks their 10th anniversary, one of the reasons the Graz stop is a celebration as much as a showcase.
About meshloader XR
meshloader XR is NEED's flagship software product, and it's a natural fit for a PCVR event. It turns static 3D and CAD models into a dynamic VR scene in seconds, with no special preparation. Import from common formats like FBX, GLTF, OBJ, IFC, and more, then walk through your model at 1:1 scale on screen or in a headset. Everything ships as a secure, password-protected .ml file that compresses heavy models from gigabytes down to megabytes, so engineering, design, and marketing teams can review and share work without exposing raw 3D data.

About CAD-Forge
CAD-Forge is a Graz master-builder and planning firm based at Joanneumring 7/7, the very address hosting the roadshow. Alongside their core construction work, planning, structural detailing, formwork and reinforcement, BIM, and site management, they run their own VR studio, bringing immersive technology directly into the building process. Like NEED, CAD-Forge is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
