Every entertainment project is different. We work with operators to understand the venue, audience flow, content format, technical environment, and operating model before recommending a VR solution.
Free-roam VR, interactive attractions, and venue-based entertainment. Headsets paired with backpack PCs keep rendering local to each player, which helps reduce the wireless instability that shows up under sustained commercial use.
Discuss an LBE project →
Seated immersive viewing for cultural tourism venues, museums, exhibitions, and commercial spaces. A seated format with rotating chairs activates existing space without large-scale physical reconstruction.
Discuss a VR cinema →
High-fidelity VR experiences for attraction and entertainment settings, including motion seating and environmental effects. Designed for repeatable, high-frequency guest sessions rather than one-off demonstrations.
Discuss an attraction →Why Pimax Business
What these capabilities mean when a venue has to run the same experience all day, every day.
High-resolution panels reduce visible pixelation, so guests see a sharper image — which matters when the experience itself is what they paid for.
A wider field of view puts more of the scene in peripheral vision, which is what separates an attraction from a screen strapped to someone's face.
Local PC rendering and a direct display connection help avoid the latency, black screens, and disconnects that interrupt a paid session. Supports OpenXR and OpenVR workflows.
Headset, computing, seating, and tracking combinations are selected per project — a seated cinema and a free-roam arena do not need the same hardware.
Support from requirement discovery through device setup, operator training, launch preparation, and post-launch technical support.
Synchronized playback, centralized content distribution, device monitoring, and fast session reset — the difference between a demo and a schedule.
Product line-up
Four headsets, each suited to a different deployment. The right choice depends on seating format, session length, budget per station, and how much visual fidelity the attraction needs.
Used in our VR cinema reference project
Lightweight enough for long seated sessions, with micro-OLED clarity. Chosen for seated cinema where comfort directly affects satisfaction and word of mouth.
Used in our LBE full-sensory theatre project
Flagship clarity and the widest field of view in the line, for LBE attractions and premium visual experiences where the headset carries the whole effect.
Balanced option for venues and exhibitions
High-resolution PC VR at a more practical cost per station, for exhibitions, demonstrations, and entertainment spaces that run many units.
Accessible option for high unit counts
A more accessible lightweight micro-OLED headset for visitor experiences, demonstrations, and venue deployments where unit count drives the business case.
Headset selection for a specific project depends on venue, content, session format, and site conditions. Configurations and compatibility are confirmed during project scoping — the pairings above reflect published reference deployments, not a guarantee for every use case.
Projects and demonstrations
A published Pimax deployment in cultural tourism, and a Honda demonstration of remote robot operation through hand tracking.
VR Cinema / Cultural Tourism · China
A seated VR cinema project upgrading traditional film culture into an immersive viewing format. Built on Pimax Dream Air headsets, computer-integrated 360° rotating chairs, and a multi-device management workflow, with a 21-day build-out cycle for the seated VR setup.
Remote operation / robotics · Demonstration
In a Honda demonstration, an operator wearing a headset and hand-tracking gloves drove the Avatar robot's hands in real time, using a tool to tighten screws. High-precision finger tracking supplied the hand-motion data; combined with Honda's robot control and AI-assisted systems, the robot completed coordinated two-handed work that requires dexterity.
