Pimax Dream Air Begins Shipping After Successful Global Demo Tour
Pimax is pleased to announce today that the Dream Air headset has officially begun shipping to customers following an extensive testing and demonstration program that spanned multiple international markets.

The Dream Air reached this milestone after two comprehensive external beta tests with users and successful demonstrations at major technology events in Los Angeles, San Jose, Düsseldorf, and at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where the headset garnered significant industry attention.

Recent Hardware Refinements

Based on extensive user feedback, the Pimax engineering team has implemented several key improvements in recent months:
  • Firmer audio stems for enhanced stability and durability
  • Upgraded face foam for improved comfort during extended sessions
  • New distortion profiles optimizing visual clarity

Martin Lammi, European Marketing Director of Pimax:
"The Dream Air was announced earlier and has seen several revisions, most notably the switch to more premium Sony panels as well as upgraded optics, with Pimax's ConcaveView pancake lenses, offering the widest field of view of any small-form factor headset. We know we are late with shipping compared to our original estimate, but we hope these changes are worth it. We cannot wait to see how users react to the headset, and to see them using this headset in their VR experiences of choice."

Industry-Leading Specifications

The Dream Air represents Pimax's most anticipated product release to date, combining professional-grade features with a compact form factor. Key specifications include:
  • Complete tracking suite: Eye tracking, hand tracking, and head tracking
  • Ultra-high resolution: 27 million pixels powered by Sony micro-OLED displays
  • Innovative weight distribution: Split cable design for balanced comfort
  • ConcaveView pancake optics: Delivering exceptional clarity with the widest field of view in its class
